How long in advance should we consider booking you?
It's never too late to inquire, however the average time is around 12-18 months prior to your wedding day.
I'm getting married in (amazing exotic location). Do you travel outside of Tasmania to photograph weddings?
Yes! I've photographed weddings around Australia and internationally. Please don't hesitate to ask about national or international inquiries. It may be simpler than you think.
How many photos can we expect to receive?
I typically deliver between 500 and 750 images. I don't limit the number. I provide all images in colour and then around 40% of those again in black and white.
Are you going to pose us and make it super awkward?
No weird posing and eye gazing, I promise! For a lot of the day I aim to capture what is happening without interfering. During portraits, I generally give couples a little direction as most brides and grooms aren't too used to being in front of a camera. My aim is to make it relaxing and fun and get you back to the party!
How soon after the wedding will we receive our photos?
My standard turnaround time is 6-8 weeks.
You must have seen a lot of weddings, can we ask your opinion about a venue or vendor?
Sure, I'd be happy to offer advice or share my experiences. Brutal honesty guaranteed.
Do you need us for a certain amount of time on the wedding day for photos?
Not especially, I would never want you to sacrifice time with friends and family for photos. With proper planning you can have both! I'd rather have you when you're relaxed and happy at the time when the light is best.
‘Can family and friends order prints from you directly?’
Absolutely! Simply share your access code to your online gallery and family and friends can log in and order prints from the site.
Do you offer wedding albums?
Yes! I think there's no better way to present and preserve your favourite wedding photos. Just ask and I can show you some samples.
